Event date/time: January 13, 2026 from 10:30 am – 2:00 pm
Location: UW Fluno Center Skyview Room, 601 University Ave, Madison, WI (this is an In-person only event).
As we enter 2026, businesses engaged in international trade face a shifting global landscape shaped by heightened volatility, persistent labor shortages, and mounting U.S. debt pressures. These forces are driving profound changes in supply chains, capital flows, and foreign exchange markets—demanding strategic adaptation and risk-informed decision making.
What will drive the U.S. economy in 2026? This session unpacks how tariffs, advances in AI, and shifts in immigration are shaping the next phase of market growth. We’ll explore how these forces are influencing inflation, competitiveness, and the value of the U.S. dollar — and what it all means for businesses making strategic decisions in a changing global landscape. Expect clear insights, practical takeaways, and a forward look at the trends every leader should be watching.
Join MITA for this essential discussion featuring two distinguished experts who will provide insight into what lies ahead for globally oriented companies.
